I'm not sure we will have room for them, MichaelP, Joel tells me we are going to have 30-40 attendees as its is!
I don't know if there are any themes or blind tastings planned.

I'm thinking dinner at Black Salt on Thursday evening with some light wine consumption, perhaps a little wine shopping next door beforehand. It sounds like a number of BWEers are coming in on Thursday.

Ok if we do Black Salt for Thursday night, how many people are coming Thursday so I can reserve?

Do people still want the traditional Charlie Palmer for Saturday night? Or to change it up?

Jim I know you enjoyed Bistrot Lepic but I think their room will only fit like 12-15 people so they might not work for Friday or Saturday, depending on how many attendees we have we might need to do them Thursday with fewer people if we do them at all

I was trying to hook up with Joel before I left for Paris but it did not seem to happen.
Seriously, I defer completely to the decisions of Joel and Marcus, I am fine with whatever you guys decide.
I think we have like 25 BWEers signed up plus Joel says he expects another 10+ locals, so I think we could have between 25-40 folks for the Friday and Saturday night events.
I think Black Salt on Thursday night for a smaller, more low key crowd sounds great, we should try to get final numbers for a quiet Thursday night dinner.
Thanks Marcus and Joel for taking the lead on this, I trust whatever you ultimately decide.

Marcus, Bistro Lepic for Thursday night would be excellent from my perspective, I’m not glued to Black Salt. I really enjoyed the food and service there at our last dinner, I think other BWEers would like it. But, again, I’ll defer completely to you guys.

I don't have any top 1964s left, but I'll bring something from 1964 for Saturday.

I don't have any, but 1934 was a very good vintage. I joined Tim, Francois and a friend of his for a lunch a Paris a number of years ago with 5 1934s, including Latour. That was great.

I'll be in the cellar the week prior to the event and know I have a few 64 Bordeaux and Italian, so I'll bring some. That's for Thurs correct?

I might have a 34 Petrus. I bought a few unlabeled decades ago from Christies Amsterdam and brought one to BWE 2005 (or was it 2015?) in Bordeaux and everyone that had some thought it tasted as we've all read about such a wine. In any case it was pretty good.

My old cellar list shows one dry white 84. I'll bring it if I find it? Also could be a poor condition 24. Let's see what I find.

No 44 or 54.

No I think Eddie and Stefan were talking about bringing '64s to the Saturday night dinner.

Here is our typical schedule:

Thursday: Champagne, Bordeaux, Sauternes.

Friday: Anything But Bordeaux.

Saturday: Champagne, Bordeaux, Sauternes.
