The 2016 was drinking nicely after 90 min of air. Started like a concentrated slightly warm merlot. Became a merlot berry, meaty, black plum, licorice, mineral Canon-Fronsac.
The Revelette is the perfect qpr red from Provence. Clearly too good with it medium weight and well made constitution and aromas.
GPL is quite concentrated, auster, powerful in 2020. Black currant and fruit, lead pencil, blackberries, light meat and bay leave. Serious drink and Promising.
Talbot is very oaky, milk chocolate and cigar tobacco. Way better 2 days later with some black berries, spices, still some chocolate, leather and red berries. Still some tobacco. I’m a bit puzzled.
I can see less homogeneity with the very few 2020 i had, compared to let say 2016.
Last weekend some 2020
Re: Last weekend some 2020
GPL sounds good. Talbot a little worrisome, but it’s early days.
